Triangulus galatheae

(Norman & Scott, 1906)

Description:
Up to 5.5 mm wide, lemon to orange in colour. Asymmetrical, left side of the body inflated. Mantle opening towards the right sides of the parasite and the host.

Habitat:
Parasitic on Galathea intermedia , Galathea dispersa and Galathea nexa . Usually one per host.

Distribution:
A southern species.
