Description:
Posterior margin of pleosome segments 1 and 2 with a large dorsal tooth. Posterior margin of epimeral plate 3 moderately serrate, distal angle with a large tooth. Head with a large rostrum, lateral lobes small, weakly angular; eyes large, especially in male, rounded. Antenna 1 less than half the body length, flagellum slender up to about 20-articulate. Antenna 2 in female almost twice length of antenna 1, peduncle articles 4 and 5 about equal, flagellum very slender. Antenna 2 in male as long as body, peduncle robust, articles 3 to 5 with tufts of short setules on inner margin, flagellum filiform. Gnathopods slender, weakly setose; female gnathopod 1 propodus longer than carpus, palm oblique, spinose, delimited by pair of slender spines. Gnathopod 2 in female propodus little longer than carpus, palm oblique, spinose, delimited by pair of slender spines. Gnathopods 1 and 2 in male propodus oval, much longer than carpus, palm strongly oblique, spinose, delimited by pair of slender spines. Pereiopods robust and spinose; pereiopod 7 elongate, basis with posterior margin smooth or feebly crenulate. Uropod 3 rami spinose, inner ramus with few setae, inner margin expanded proximally with confronted margins minutely toothed. Telson elongate, triangular, apex subacute.
