Description:
First pair of gnathopods much smaller than second pair. Second pereopods four articulate. First peraeon segment coalescent with head. Dorsal peraeon segments 6 and 7 distinct. Dorsal surface of segments 3-7 smooth. One pair of ventral spines present on segment 5 in females, absent in males, present on segment 6 and 7 in both females and males. Gills not fasciculate, single, extending beyond the head. One pair of short accessory gills present on segments 3 and 4 in males.

Size:
Up to 9.5 mm.

Habitat:
Parasite on Physeter macrocephalus Linnaeus, 1758.

Distribution:
North Sea.
