Description:
First pair of gnathopods much smaller than second pair. Second pereopods four-articulate. First peraeon segment coalescent with head. Pointed process present at the base of each gill, outwardly directed. Gills not fasciculate.
Size:
Up to 6 mm.
Habitat:
Parasite on Cetacea.
Distribution:
North Sea.
