Bruzelius, 1859

Description:
Urosome segments fused; without a lateral ridge, uropods inserted laterally. Head with a triangular rostrum, lateral lobes rounded; in female, the rostrum and lateral lobes small, in male both the rostrum and lateral lobes especially prominent. Female antenna 1 peduncle article 1 ventral margin with 6 or 7 spines, proximal 3 or 4 spines curved; inner margin expanded with 3 to 6 long weakly curved proximal spines. Male antenna 1 peduncle article 1 ventral margin with 4 or 5 short spines, proximal 2 spines curved; inner margin not expanded, with 3 or 4 small curved proximal spines. Female antenna 2 weakly setose, peduncle article 3 inner dorsal margin with 5 or 6 small curved spines, article 4 distal ventrolateral angle not produced, ventral margin with 9 or 10 spines, dorsal margin with 5 to 10 curved proximal spines and about 15 short distal setae, article 5 ventral margin without proximal process but with single median spine. Male antenna 2 peduncle article 3 inner dorsal margin without spines, article 4 distal ventrolateral angle with one long acute process and one smaller obtuse process, inner ventral margin with or without 1 to 3 spines, dorsal margin without spines or setae, article 5 ventral margin with proximal process but without median spine.
