Description:
Body quite slender and elongate. Eyes irregularly rounded-oval, dark red. Antenna 1 very small reaching to end of peduncle article 4 of antenna 2, flagellum 3-articulate. Antenna 2 quite short and slender, less than one-third body length, flagellum distinctly spinulose, about 12-articulate, length of spinules on flagellum equal to, or greater than, width of corresponding article. Male gnathopod 1 carpus longer than propodus each with prominent posterior lobe and strong sub-marginal spines, carpal lobe prolonged distally, dactylus shorter than palm. Female gnathopod 1 carpus and propodus strongly spinose, palm very short, dactylus longer than palm. Male gnathopod 2 propodus robust, oval, palm only about half length of posterior margin, convex, spinose, becoming more sharply convex distally, dactylus curved to follow palmar margin with tip slender and straight. Female gnathopod 2 basis with anterodistal margin straight or feebly sinuous, merus, carpus and propodus each with distinct posterior lobe. Pereopod 7 strongly spinose, basis only moderately expanded, posterior margin weakly serrate, merus and carpus subequal length, propodus slender and straight. Pleopods 1-3 peduncle elongate, rami very short and unsegmented. Uropods 1-2 only sparsely spinose. Telson with small apical cleft and numerous small marginal spines.

Colour:
Whitish with orange tinge.
Habitat:
Depth range unknown.
Distribution:
Is only known from one locality, Chatham Ness in the Medway estuary.
