Description:
Female asymmetrically pyriform, cephalon with a broad, flat frontal border. Pereion with very wide, flattened, contiguous lateral plates; oostegites overlapping ventrally in adult. Pleon segments well-defined, pleopods short and smooth; uropods present. Male with pleon segments fused.
Habitat:
Recorded from Galathea squamifera and Galathea intermedia .
Distribution:
A southern species.
